How We Choose What to Cover

We cover products readers are already searching for and asking questions about. Being covered on this site is not paid placement, and coverage isn’t a guarantee of a positive review. How We Research Each Product

For every product we review, we:

1. Read the manufacturer’s own product page and marketing materials in full
2. Identify every active ingredient and the specific claims made about it
3. Search peer-reviewed research, clinical guidelines, and recognized health databases for evidence on each ingredient and, where available, the finished product itself
4. Note where manufacturer claims are supported by independent research, and where they aren’t
5. Review publicly available customer feedback to understand common experiences, both positive and negative, while treating individual testimonials as anecdotal rather than clinical evidence

What We Won’t Do

We don’t present a manufacturer’s efficacy claims as established fact just because the manufacturer states them. We don’t omit a product’s negative feedback or reported side effects to make a review read more favorably. We don’t cite a source we haven’t personally reviewed.

Keeping Content Current

Product formulations, pricing, and guarantee terms change. We review and update our published pages periodically, and each page displays the month it was last checked. If you spot outdated information, you can reach us through our contact page.

Corrections

If we get something wrong, we fix it. If you believe a page contains an error, tell us what it is and point us to a source, and we’ll review and correct it if warranted.
